The Forrest God

R.I.P Ronnie James Dio

Robot Woman

I drew this from looking at a picture of Kat Von D. I wanted to add some things to make it a little more interesting so I made her a broken robot.

Crow Man

This drawing was something I did after looking at Richard A. Kirks drawings.

Richard A. Kirk

Cuckoo's Promise by: Richard A. Kirk
I heard about this artist from listening to one of my favorite bands (KoRn). He did the album art for their newest album which was untitled. I was completely drawn into his style because it has so many aspects about it that I wish to include in my art. This drawing at first glance looks like a whole mess of things but as you study it and look closely you can see all the different things that its made up of. I'm guessing that this drawing was done with pencil or possibly pen.

Brian Froud

The Fae by: Brian Froud
I love Brian Froud's style of art work because it involves some fantasy aspects as well as some hidden meanings. I like the piece "The Fae" the most because it has some Wiccan aspects to it. Like the woman's mask representing the forrest god and the egg she's holding representing fertility. I like that this is not a painting because i prefer not to paint. I also love the detail involved. I'm guessing this drawing was done with colored pencil which is a style of art I really enjoy.

Salvador Dali

The Bacchanale by: Salvador Dali
I really enjoy this style of artwork. Surreal art is very interesting to me. I feel like every time I look at this painting I notice something I have not noticed before. I like the idea of hidden messages and meaning behind objects in a piece is what really draws me into some artwork. In this painting there is a swan in the middle of some kind of desert landscape. I don't quite understand what the meaning is behind this but I love the idea of trying to figure it out. I'm pretty sure this was done with paints maybe acrylic or possible oil.
